A Painters Diary.

When producing my wildlife pictures I work quickly using watercolours. I use a telescope to observe the wildlife close up but also have the luxury of a digital camera to look closer at details which will back up paintings done in the field! The finished paintings are mostly produced using oil paint as this medium gives the greatest flexibility, allowing paintings to grow organically rather than be tied to a careful thought-out methodical approach that watercolours depend on.
